OUR STORY

In September of 1804, Lewis and Clark camped in the exact spot that "Camp Pleasant" now resides. They named the area Pleasant Camp due to the great abundance of game, plumbs and grapes they found while traveling the area. Come enjoy this historic area and experience the adventure of Lewis and Clark at Camp Pleasant.

CAMP PLEASANT

We love our friends and neighbors at Camp Pleasant, that's why we call it a family-friendly campground. Enjoy your time relaxing at our community fire pit or playing some basketball with the family next to the playgrounds. If you are explorers, like Lewis and Clark, Camp Pleasant is conveniently located near hotels, restaurants, and shopping at the iconic Al's Oasis. This is a cleanly groomed campground right off of paved roads. Contact us with any questions about Camp Pleasant.

“We are locals to the area and it is a great seasonal place for us to keep our camper year round!”

“It is so nice to find a place that offers a storage shed. As a year round camper, we enjoy that extra storage.”

“What a gem of a place in the Chamberlain area. We live outside of town but this is our place to set up year round.”
